Marlesa holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Since 2016, Marlesa has worked as a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In addition to her solid background in orthopedic surgery, Marlesa has experience in obstetrics, general surgery, otolaryngology and urology.
