Lesly Velez, MSN, APRN-C, is an advanced practice registered nurse who earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner Studies from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Lesly also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL. Lesly has over 19 years of direct patient care experience, with more than 10 years as a nurse practitioner. Before joining AdventHealth, she worked at DHR Health Orthopedic Institute in Edinburg, TX, Valley Pulmonary Group in McAllen, TX, and BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, FL. In her free time, Lesly enjoys outdoor activities and is a certified diver. Lesly, who is fluent in English and Spanish, is dedicated to providing whole-person care to each patient, considering body, mind and spirit.
