Heaven Turner, APRN

Heaven Turner, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience. Heaven holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the same institution. She also earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, FL. Since 2011, Heaven has been a nurse practitioner in pulmonary, sleep, intensive care and internal medicine at PCCC of Volusia in New Smyrna Beach, FL, where she cared for inpatient and outpatient pulmonary patients with acute pulmonary illnesses such as COPD exacerbation, COVID-19, pneumonia, ARDs, respiratory failures, pulmonary insufficiency and mechanical ventilation. Heaven began her career as a registered nurse in urology at the Florida Urology Center in Ormond Beach, FL. She is the author of numerous scholarly works on COPD and pulmonary therapies and serves as a professional nursing mentor and preceptor.

I love riding motorcycles, my two dogs: a Yorkie and a boxer.

My care philosophy is the promotion of overall well-being, patient empowerment and cost-conscious care. My priorities are in educating patients to give them the tools to manage their conditions effectively reflecting a commitment to share decision-making; compassion for individualized care and value treating each patient as an individual with tailored care to their unique needs and circumstances.
