Shooters from across Central Texas will gather in Lampasas on Sunday, August 14, for the Metroplex Health System Foundation’s third annual Rollins Brook Community Hospital Sporting Clays Tournament.
The charity event will be held at the Crawford-Guyco party house. Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 7:30 am. The first flight of the tournament will begin at 9 am, followed by a second flight at 2 pm. Funds raised by the event will benefit the inpatient physical therapy department at Rollins Brook Community Hospital.
“This is a fun event for a great cause,” said Daphne Meade, manager of the Metroplex Health Systems Foundation.
Those interested in participating are encouraged to pre-register for the event as space is limited to 40 teams or 160 shooters. Sponsorship opportunities also are available. Individual entry fee is $125 and includes continental breakfast, cookout lunch, gift and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased on-site for opportunities to win some great prizes.
Participants are required to bring their own shotgun, shells, and eye and ear protection. Team and individual trophies will be awarded.
