Daniel Jones, DO

Daniel Jones, DO, is a Board-certified primary care sports medicine provider in Castle Rock and the surrounding area. He manages acute and chronic illnesses and the conservative management of sports injuries. He treats joint sprains, muscle strains and tears, tendinopathies, concussions, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal pain and injuries and chronic conditions. He sees patients from the age of six and older. Dr. Jones is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine (AMSSM), the American Medical Association (AMA) and many others.

Dr. Jones earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and his sports medicine fellowship at The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.

Dr. Jones is committed to being as physically active as possible, and his interests include trail running and biking, snowboarding, hiking, and kayaking. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.

Dr. Jones believes any discussion about patient goals should begin with preventive medicine and ways to maintain and achieve a healthy mind, body and spirit. He considers the most conservative approaches at first, but if escalation is required, the patient must completely understand the diagnosis, treatment and goals.
