Ann Engel, MD

Ann Engel, MD, is a board-certified family medicine practitioner who sees patients of all ages in the Denver metro area. Dr. Engel believes her mission is to use her God-given talents to provide compassionate care to those in need. She aims to help people become their healthiest through preventive care, nutrition and exercise. Her special interests are in pediatrics and dermatology.

Dr. Engel earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and her bachelor’s in biochemistry from Colorado State University. She completed her residency at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ., where she was chief resident, resident of the year and a Tim Derksen Memorial Award recipient.

In her free time, Dr. Engel enjoys all the outdoor activities Colorado offers, including skiing, hiking and camping. She loves spending time with her family and traveling. She also participates in medical mission trips to improve the health of those who need care in all parts of the world.

Dr. Engel feels it’s important to develop a relationship of trust and collaboration between physician and patient. Her care philosophy aligns with AdventHealth’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ by focusing on her patients' physical, emotional and spiritual health.
