Marissa Moritz-Guzik, PA-C

Marissa Moritz-Guzik, PA-C, is a gastroenterology physician assistant specializing in general inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, biliary and liver disorders and IBS. She practiced in family medicine for eight years before transitioning to gastroenterology. A member of the American Academy and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants, Marissa sees adult patients. She puts an emphasis on patient education and takes the time to explain disease states, testing and treatment options to help each patient understand their condition.

Marissa earned a Master of Science in integrative physiology from The University of Colorado at Boulder in Boulder, Colorado and a second Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.

In addition to her medical practice, Marissa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, yoga, Pilates, jogging, camping, and being outdoors.

Marissa believes in educating her patients and sharing decision making. She establishes trust and maintains open and honest communication.
