Stefan Garcia, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, who himself has experienced musculoskeletal injuries. He treats patients aged 13 years and older. Dr. Garcia treats lower extremity deformities, arthritis, trauma and instabilities with procedures such as ankle replacements, bunion and hammertoe correction and Achilles tendon repairs. He is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and a surgeon member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Dr. Garcia earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a residency at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His fellowship took place at UC Health Steadman Hawkins Denver Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship in Denver, Colorado.
