Richard Drexelius, MD, is a board-certified family medicine practitioner who sees patients of all ages for acute illnesses, chronic conditions and preventive care. Dr. Drexelius always wanted to be a doctor, and he is passionate about helping patients succeed by educating them on health and wellness. He partners with his patients by offering good advice, helping prevent and fight disease and promoting wellness.
Dr. Drexelius received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed a residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center University Hospital. He was the Colorado Family Practice Teacher of the Year winner in 2001.
In his free time, Dr. Drexelius enjoys studying astronomy and history.
