Poonguzhali Rangaswamy, NP

Poonguzhali “Poonze” Rangaswamy, FNP-C, is an advanced practice registered nurse providing comprehensive primary care for the whole family, from ages 2 and up. She is an experienced family nurse practitioner and treats acute and chronic conditions, diabetes, hypertension, Asthma, COPD and women’s wellness. As part of her practice, Poonze also performs preventive cancer screenings (pap/HPV testing), birth control counseling, STD screenings, treatment for menopause, and in-office procedures like cryotherapy, suture/staple removal and wound care management.

Poonze earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Madras Medical College in Chennai, India. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Walden University. She felt called to medicine after growing up in a setting where many people suffered from diseases without resources to seek medical attention. She loves being a nurse and is passionate about preventing illness so that people can live their happiest, healthiest lives. She is committed to providing the highest quality care to every patient, regardless of their race, color or identity. Poonze was the recipient of the prestigious Nightingale Award at Denver Health.

In her free time, Poonze enjoys hiking with her family and friends and spending time with her beloved dog, Inba (meaning Happiness).
