Michele Young, PA-C

Michele Young, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with over ten years of surgical experience. She graduated from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, with a Master of Medical Science and completed her bachelor’s degree in exercise science at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Since 2022, Michele has been a pediatric general surgery physician assistant for Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL, and a surgical first assistant at Lakeland Regional Health System in Lakeland, FL. Prior to this she was a physician assistant in adult general and orthopedic surgery for several years. She also serves as a surgical consultant. Additionally, she was a member of the adjunct faculty at AdventHealth University in Orlando, FL, where she taught surgery courses, including robotic surgery. Throughout her career, Michele has been invited faculty at medical training events around the U.S. and internationally. She is the author of numerous publications and presentations based on her extensive research work. In 2017, she was named the Hospital Provider of the Year by Florida Hospital, now AdventHealth.
