Michael Gavigan, MD

Michael Gavigan, MD, FACOG, is a Board-certified obstetrics physician and gynecologist who treats all gynecological conditions, performs well woman preventive care, and guides women through normal and complicated pregnancies and postpartum care. He specializes in gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive da Vinci robotic procedures. Dr. Gavigan works with benign gynecology issues like hormone replacement therapy, abnormal uterine bleeding and uterine fibroids. In 2022, Dr. Gavigan was honored with the Parker Hospital Hero Award, and has traveled to Iquitos, Peru, on a mission trip. He speaks Spanish and English and accepts patients aged 15 to 85.

Dr. Gavigan earned his Doctor of Medicine from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where he also completed his residency.

In his free time, Dr. Gavigan loves to ski and snowboard in the winter and hike and bike in the summer. He enjoys traveling with his family and is an exercise enthusiast.

Dr. Gavigan believes in treating each patient as he would want his wife, sister, mother, or daughter treated. He works diligently to ensure each patient feels valued by treating each one with respect and dignity.
