Laurie Johnson, NP

Laurie Johnson, NP, WHNP, SAFM, is a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health who sees patients for obstetric and gynecological needs, adolescent health, menopause, disease prevention and metabolic health.

Laurie received her bachelor’s in nursing from Gardner Webb University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She completed functional medicine training at the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM) and has a surgical first assistant certification from the National Institute of First Assisting (NIFA). She’s retired from the United States Air Force, where she was named nurse practitioner of the year, and is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).

In her free time, Laurie enjoys Colorado activities like hiking, skiing, cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking, walking her dogs, being in nature and spending time with her family.

Laurie strives to help patients achieve the best health possible. She looks for early signs of disease and works toward prevention through lifestyle change. She is passionate about helping women increase their health longevity using lifestyle, integrative and functional medicine.
