Frederique Carey, NP

Frederique Carey, NP, was called to medicine because she wanted to care for people. She spent five years as a bedside nurse caring for patients and their families in the ICU. Frederique takes the whole person care approach. She wants to understand how a health concern can impact all areas of her patient’s life. Her aim is to restore health and improve her patient’s quality of life, while empowering individuals in their own health journey. Frederique will treat the following conditions: outpatient neurosurgical evaluation of low back pain, lumbar radiculopathy, neck pain, cervical radiculopathy, scoliosis, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, cervical myelopathy, spinal stenosis, subdural hematomas, intracranial hematomas, and brain tumors. She also performs physical examinations related to the above mentioned conditions, shunt adjustments, staple and suture removal, X-ray, CT scan, and MRI review.

Frederique has a BS in psychology, BSN, MSN, and is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP. Frederique speaks English, French, and Spanish.

Frederique works every day to empower her patients to take control of their life and health choices to live long, fruitful, and satisfied lives.
