Alex Romero, MD

Alex Romero, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Romero is deeply committed to the care of all his patients and is honored by the privilege to help them restore their whole health by providing expert orthopedic care with compassion. He treats patients with sports-related injuries, acute and chronic hip, knee and shoulder problems, tendonitis, tendonopathies and more. His practice specializes in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and hip, shoulder and knee surgery.

Dr. Romero earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and his sports medicine fellowship at Santa Monica Orthopaedics Group.

Dr. Romero is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
